RECOVERY SUPPORT

Recovery Support That Makes Room for the Whole Person

Recovery is about more than changing a behavior. It can also involve learning to understand triggers, regulate intense emotions, rebuild trust in yourself, and create a life that feels more stable and connected.

Whole Heart offers trauma-informed, person-centered support that honors your experiences, strengths, goals, and individual path forward.

RECOVERY IS NOT ABOUT BECOMING SOMEONE ELSE.
IT IS ABOUT
RECONNECTING WITH WHO YOU ARE.

Designed to complement—not replace—substance-use-disorder treatment, therapy, medical care, or crisis services.

SUPPORT BEYOND THE SURFACE

Recovery Can Touch Every Part of Life

The experiences connected to recovery do not always fit neatly into one category. Support can make room for the emotional, physical, relational, and practical parts of moving forward.

Recognizing patterns, understanding responses, and building greater capacity to stay present during difficult moments.

TRIGGERS & EMOTIONAL REGULATION

Exploring the beliefs and experiences that affect how you see yourself while strengthening compassion, choice, and confidence.

SHAME & SELF-TRUST

Developing healthier boundaries, communication, and ways of connecting without losing yourself in the process

RELATIONSHIPS & CONNECTION

Discovering who you are beyond survival, substance use, or past experiences—and what you want your life to include now.

IDENTITY & MOVING FORWARD

Support Without Shame or a One-Size-Fits-All Plan

A PERSON-CENTERED APPROACH

You are more than a diagnosis, a difficult chapter, or the patterns you are working to change.

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in respect for your autonomy. We begin with where you are now—not where someone else believes you should be—and build support around your goals, strengths, needs, and readiness.

You do not have to prove that you are struggling enough, recovering perfectly, or following one specific path to deserve meaningful support.

Exploring the emotional and body-based experiences that may be connected to triggers, recurring patterns, or feeling stuck.

COLLABORATIVE SUPPORT

Support Grounded in Education and Real-World Experience

EXPERIENCE INFORMED BY THE RECOVERY FIELD

My work includes years of supporting individuals in recovery and collaborating alongside rehabilitation and behavioral-health teams. My perspective is also shaped by years of lived experience as a family caregiver, which has deepened my understanding of how recovery can affect the individual as well as the people who love and support them.

Together, these experiences have given me insight into both the deeply personal side of recovery and the importance of compassionate, coordinated support.

I have also completed UC San Diego’s 80-hour ASCEND program for advanced substance-use-disorder counselor education and development, strengthening the specialized knowledge I bring to this work.
