BRAINSPOTTING CONSULTATION

Strengthen Your Skills. Deepen Your Confidence. Stay Connected to the Work.

Learning Brainspotting continues long after a training ends. Questions often emerge when you begin using the modality in real sessions, adapting setups, following client processes, and developing greater trust in your own clinical instincts.

Whole Heart offers individualized consultation for Brainspotting practitioners seeking support as they develop their skills, explore practice questions, integrate Brainspotting into their existing work, or complete consultation requirements toward certification.

Consultation is collaborative, practical, and grounded in curiosity—not performance or perfection.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE EVERY ANSWER TO BECOME A MORE CONFIDENT BRAINSPOTTING PRACTITIONER.

  • Professional consultation is educational and does not replace clinical supervision, licensure requirements, therapy, or emergency support.

Bring Your Questions, Curiosity, and Real-World Experience

CONSULTATION FOR WHERE YOU ARE

Consultation offers room to slow down, reflect on your work, and deepen your understanding of Brainspotting. You do not need to arrive with a polished case presentation or know exactly what question to ask.

FOR PRACTITIONERS PURSUING CERTIFICATION

Current certification standards require completion of Brainspotting Phase 1, Phase 2, and one advanced training—Master Class or Phase 3, 4, or 5—along with 50 documented Brainspotting sessions and a minimum of six consultation hours with the same Approved Brainspotting Consultant.

I prefer consultation to unfold organically across those hours as you practice. Rather than trying to cover everything at once, we work with questions, insights, challenges, and learning needs as they arise. This allows the material from your trainings and real-world experience to come together in a way that feels relevant, integrated, and grounded in your developing

CONSULTATION IS A PLACE TO LEARN

NOT A TEST OF WHETHER YOU ARE “GOOD ENOUGH.”

A COLLABORATIVE CONSULTATION PROCESS

What Consultation Can Look Like

You do not need to prepare a formal presentation. Bring a question, a pattern you have noticed, a place where you feel uncertain, or a broader area you want to understand more deeply.

1 — BEGIN WITH YOUR QUESTION

We identify what feels most important and clarify what you hope to understand, strengthen, or take away from the consultation.

2 — EXPLORE THE PROCESS TOGETHER

We slow the work down and consider Brainspotting setups, pacing, attunement, client responses, practitioner activation, and other relevant factors.

3 — MAKE ROOM FOR CURIOSITY

Consultation is not about finding one perfect answer. We explore possibilities, notice what fits, and remain thoughtful about your client, setting, scope, and professional judgment.

4 — LEAVE WITH A CLEARER NEXT STEP

We summarize key insights, identify areas for continued reflection or practice, and clarify any next steps connected to your learning or certification process.

  • CLIENT PRIVACY MATTERS. PLEASE REMOVE OR ALTER IDENTIFYING DETAILS WHEN DISCUSSING YOUR WORK.

MEET YOUR CONSULTANT

Professional Experience Grounded in Human Connection

I bring a warm, collaborative, and non-hierarchical approach to Brainspotting consultation. My goal is to create a space where you can think openly, acknowledge uncertainty, ask practical questions, and continue developing your own authentic way of working.

My perspective is informed by years of supporting individuals in recovery, providing Brainspotting in rehabilitation settings, and collaborating alongside behavioral-health teams. My work with neurodivergent adults, nervous-system regulation, complex life experiences, and body-aware approaches also shapes how I understand pacing, attunement, adaptation, and the importance of meeting each person where they are.

Consultation with me is not about copying someone else’s style. It is about strengthening your understanding of Brainspotting while developing greater trust in your own presence, judgment, and relationship with the work.

AREAS INFORMING MY CONSULTATION

• Trauma-informed Brainspotting
• Recovery and substance-use concerns

YOU ARE ALLOWED TO LEARN WHILE YOU PRACTICE.

Bring your questions, uncertainty, curiosity, and developing experience. Consultation is a place to reflect, integrate, and grow—not to perform.
